Zallpy Interviews: Flávia Barbosa
Flávia relocated over 2.000 miles from Amapá in the north of Brazil to the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA in the south to study Software Engineering. Soon after starting her studies, she was introduced to Zallpy. At the time, Flavia had no idea that one day she would be responsible for multiple teams within one of the company's most innovative verticals – the #Lab.
The Lab is where we develop scalable and personalized digital solutions, capable of adapting to the needs of companies from diverse market segments. One such solution is Onboarding, a project in which Flávia's team was fundamentally involved.
“When we began this project, the team had very little market experience. However, Zallpy supported us by adding more collaborators and we were able to deliver some superb software. Seeing people using the system now is very rewarding for the team because we all matured while developing this product.”
As a Product Owner and Agilist for the vertical enterprise, Flávia seeks solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders as well as structuring team projects.
“If the team needs something, I'm here to solve it.” She considers herself a solution seeker, and a supporter of the team. “Never let a person leave a meeting in a worse state than they entered” is a motto that she follows. "I’m always looking for a solution to help the team member.”
What would she say to a young Flávia, a development intern at the #Academy, who wanted to migrate to the Product and Management area? “To do everything I did because it worked out very well. In 10 years, I see myself dealing with management and people. I can say that I’ve found my true self.”
Zallpy taught her that communication and practicality are the keys to everything. This was equally true at the beginning of her career as well as today when dealing with managing processes and people.
“Nothing is so difficult that we cannot find a solution. Even if it takes time, it's not impossible. Zallpy was without a doubt a great place for me to start my career. I flourished because they gave me a chance.”
