“Today I feel professionally fulfilled. I was nervous because it was something new, but I read a lot of positive comments online. Today I can see that I made a very good decision ... As I said, the guidance, the united team, being part of communities... The internal social actions that we have - we have grown a lot together. Zallpy is growing every day, and we are all a part of that. I am very happy that I decided to come here.”

Meet Anna H. G. Schychof, Data Analyst and this week's interviewee. In January 2022 she made a radical change: she left her in-person position at a company in São Paulo, her home state, and adopted the remote model with Z.

At first, Ana says, she was extremely nervous as it was all completely new to her. However, Zallpy was wonderful and made her feel incredibly welcome. From there, she began to engage with her teammates and increase her participation in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Community. She now shares a leadership role with other colleagues and helps to develop internal social actions to foster cultural diversity across Z.

“It's no use saying that a company is diverse if it doesn't take care of its employees, we, therefore, organize discussions and social actions. There is a lot of research before any decision is taken ... at the moment we are studying the possibility of including a survey into the Z app to have more information about the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Community.”

As if this isn’t enough there’s always an additional challenge. On this journey, she is dealing with one of BMW's multiple teams. English is the language that enables the exchange and connection of ideas.

“Personally, this was the most interesting aspect of the project, and I arrived both excited and scared because I’d never worked on an international challenge. The team has people from Europe and the United States. Currently, we are going through a migration process, which is not easy, but we have a lot of support from the client and our leaders.”

For Anna, the biggest differential at Zallpy is the training, the community, and the feeling that she is growing alongside the company.

“Another point I feel concerns leadership. The leadership here is good, we have well-defined scopes, we are very well-guided, and we always receive support. That's why I really appreciate my team and my leaders because they always encourage our growth.”

Even in remote mode, Anna has already gone through important in-person moments: she traveled to team building activities at Z headquarters, where she met her teammates and participated in a collective coffee meeting with our Business Director (CBO) - Software Delivery, Tiago Soldá.
